Today we prepare for Super Bowl 55 and once again, it features Tom Brady. Many outstanding teams have played in and won the super bowl. It’s a special game that many of the greatest athletes to play in the National Football League (NFL) have never played in and four teams have never made it too. However, tomorrow, while tonight’s winner celebrates, 31 teams set their eyes on Super Bowl 56, and the winner becomes their target.
Being the best in not an accident, you don’t work hard for one month and suddenly arrive. To be the best, to win it all, it takes an extreme dedication to excellence. A mindset of working through pain, discomfort, uncertainty, and an absolute belief that you can do it. One must also rely on the people around them because it takes a team, not just an individual.
Building a culture is key. People must have something to buy into if they are going to give you all they have. This is something bigger than themselves that unites and guides everyone to fight for a cause. When times get tough, we resort to culture to guide us. These elite teams have it, culture and it becomes their way, a guiding light, and drives them through the rough days to that end goal, in this case, the Super Bowl.
Whether your interest is sports, teaching, business, or something else you need to find a great culture to be a part of. Finding that realm of dedication will help you push to greatness in a way you never thought possible.
Find your team and get a win! We can help you develop and get there!
